The rich assortment includes all these different profiles in aluminium, brass, stainless steel, and plastic. We make the floor and room profiles in perforated or self-adhesive design, shrink packed, in self-service packaging, and stocked in our profile shops loose or in bulk.
Besides great presentation, we have renewed or improved our product range in many areas. The improvements are reflected among other things by optimum adhesive quality, several different lengths, new colors and finishes.
Unlike our competitors, we do not apply any film which sooner or later peels away from the profile. Using a high quality, innovative surface treatment, we change the appearance of aluminium into wood, marble, granite or into an infinite number of other fashionable colors and textures. This makes the surface even more UV-resistant and also more resistant to water and scratching than standard coatings.

Cover strips
With alfer® cover strips of aluminium, brass, stainless steel, or plastic two same-type or different-type floor coverings can be permanently, simply, and quickly connected. Rough edges of floor coverings are covered, butt jointed transitions are permanently protected. alfer® cover strips are primarily used in entry areas and halls.
Rough edges are unsightly, the edge of the carpet frays, and there is a stumbling hazard.
With an alfer® cover strip, as shown here in anodised aluminium, both coverings are permanently, easily, and quickly connected. Rough edges of floor coverings are covered, stumbling hazards are avoided.
Edging profiles
alfer® edging profiles of aluminium or plastic ensure a clean and discreet edge, particularly for existing thresholds or stairs. Rough edges of floor coverings are covered, stumbling hazards are avoided.

Step edging profiles
alfer® step edging profiles of aluminium and plastic protect textile floor coverings from abrasion on step edges discreetly and permanently. The profiles are made of special material, they are virtually indestructible, absolutely crush-resistant, and extremely color stable. All alfer® step edging profiles are eye-catchers and provide firm footing on the stairs.
Unprotected step edges soon look worn and wear down over time and become stumbling hazards – climbing stairs becomes unsafe.
